The “Energiefabrik”: Showcase MV
Information
Emission-free and decentralized energy supply for the municipality of Lübesse and the adjacent industrial area. In the future, wind power and photovoltaic systems in Lübesse (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) will generate green electricity that can be used 100% decentrally by the community. To ensure that electricity and heat are constantly available, the SmartEnergyTechnology developed and patented by EXYTRON GmbH stores the energy that cannot be used immediately. This is done by producing hydrogen and processing it into renewable methane (natural gas). In contrast to hydrogen, methane can store many times the amount of energy and can be handled much more easily and economically. This will not only ensure the continuous economic supply of electricity and heat for the municipality of Lübesse, but the EXYTRON technology will also produce regenerative, climate-neutral fuels such as methanol, DME and aviation paraffin for the market.
Planned start of construction: autumn 2021
Facilities on an area of around 57,000 m²
